Ideal Body Weight - Simple Yet Effective Secrets to Reach It and to Keep It

By
Overweight is a common health condition. Many people have been trying to reach their ideal body weights over and over again. Many manage to lose weight successfully, but they also gain it back very quickly. Very often, the story ends with even higher overweight than before the diet.
I have always practiced sports a lot, but still, many years ago, I was obese. That was the main reason for my other health problems... I suffered many joint injuries, I was depressed, I had problems with
my skin, my hair...

All my problems escalated to the point when I realized I have to do something about it. I started my weight loss diet, nothing fancy but very efficient. I just eat less, I changed my eating habits and routine, and I started to practice sports even harder. It was a successful long-run project, in one year period I lost my overweight 20 kg and I kept my ideal body weight ever since.

Here are my secrets, which can help you reach and maintain your ideal body size, too:

Calculate Ideal Body Weight

Calculating ideal body weight is not complicated. It is more a question whether such weight is a healthy body weight for you. Weight and body height are closely related, but they are not the only factor that counts. As a goal, set a proper body weight, do not exaggerate. After you reach it, depends on your feeling, you can always re-set it.

Determination

I'm absolutely sure that this is the key factor of every successful weight loss diet. You have to make a firm decision that you will lose body weight, and then you have to stick to it no matter what. Weight loss diet is a long-term project; it's like every other addiction treatment and without strong determination and hard work you simply cannot be successful.

Control and Observe Your Progress Constantly

Control your progress daily, every lost kg is a great inspiration. You must know that in the beginning you will lose weight pretty fast. After that, there's a problematic stage when you are dieting, but you're not losing any weight. Your determination must help you to get over that crisis and in a short time your weight scale will again show the result you are working for.

Do Not Finish Your Weight Loss Diet Too Soon

When you reach your correct body weight, your weight loss diet is not over yet. Some important changes lead you to your goal. The bad news is that your body is not adapted to them yet, the whole system is not automatic yet. It took me one year to reach my ideal body weight, and it took me additional two years that my body adapted to the changes.

Regular Exercise

Regular exercise should be a part of everybody's healthy lifestyle. Since we are very different, there's no rule which body weight exercises you should practice, for how long and how often. It does not matter, which body weight workouts you choose; important is that you are active, that you find your body weight exercise routines. That will not only help you maintain your lean body weight, it will help you prevent and ease many other health problems, too.

Healthy Diet

These basics work for me perfectly, they should work for you too:
- Drink at least two liters of water daily.

- You can eat everything, but you should reduce the amounts of fat, carbohydrates, and sugar rich foods.

- Avoid quick unhealthy snacks and fast food.

- Take five smaller daily servings, if possible every day at the same time and never eat until you are full.

- Never miss breakfast and never eat so late to go to bed on a full stomach.

- Even when you are on holidays try to stick to your routine as much as possible. Whenever you travel, wherever you stay, do not try to taste and eat everything you see.

- Healthy organic grown fruits and vegetables must be the most important part of everybody's healthy diet; they should be a part of every daily serving.

Juices and Smoothies

Many years ago, I discovered all natural healthy juices and a little bit later also beautiful homemade smoothies. What an amazing tasty way to get necessary vitamins, minerals, and enzymes into everybody's diet.

I recognized juicing and making smoothies already after I had reached my ideal body weight. If I had known them before, my weight loss diet would have been much easier, tastier, and faster.

If you're fighting with overweight or not, you really should try them. You will notice amazing results already in a short time. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.

My name is Tatjana and I live in a small, but amazingly beautiful country Slovenia. Together with my friend, I started to build a website, where we share our knowledge about a healthy life style with others. We are certain that our ideas and experiences can help many people towards a healthier and so also happier life for them, too.

Fat Burning Secrets for Women

By
Body Fat Distribution
Women bear almost double the amount of body fat as men, primarily to help them carry and nourish babies. Fat is the major energy source needed for fetal development and protection. We have no control over where the fat cells decide to swell and shrink.
The fat cells in the lower body, where women tend to put on inches, are more prone to fat storage. The fat cells in the upper body, where men tend to carry extra weight, are more prone to releasing fat. Women who have dieted will notice that as they lose weight, body fat starts melting away from the upper body first, followed by the
persevering lower body fat.

Yet the reverse is true when gaining weight. The fat cells in the hips, thighs, butt and abs will enlarge first.

Woman who have yoyo dieted for years have an upper body that is disproportionately smaller than her lower body.

Hormones

During pregnancy and the menstrual cycle, hormones encourage water retention in the fat cells. The excess fluid slows down circulation and makes it even more difficult to mobilize fat.

The progesterone in women's bodies affects appetite and mood. It causes hunger during the second half of your menstrual cycle and is responsible for the ravenous appetite experienced during pregnancy.

Progesterone also causes sluggishness and sleepiness making one less inclined to exercise. Women who take birth control pills gain on average 3 - 5 pounds as a side effect.

Pregnancy

Throughout pregnancy, fat cells in a woman's body not only expand, but often multiply in number. When the pregnancy is over, those fat cells remain and are always ready to enlarge when the body takes in more calories than it uses. In addition, the thyroid gland, which drives the metabolism, becomes notoriously sluggish during pregnancy to help the body hold onto fat. Not surprisingly, after two or three children, the weight loss dilemma may be compounded.

Menopause

During peri-menopause (the 10 years prior to menopause), women begin producing less estrogen, which is a protective hormone. We also begin to sleep less and our appetite becomes stimulated. As peri-menopause begins, fat tends to accumulate around the waist and chest, increasing our risk of heart disease.
Aging

Beginning in the mid-20s, women lose an average of about 7 pounds of muscle mass each decade (compared to 5 pounds for men). To make matters worse, non-exercising women typically gain 1 -2 pounds of fat a year - for life. And the fat gain number can be much higher depending on lifestyle choices.

So, by your mid-40s, you have probably lost close to 15 pounds of metabolically active muscle and replaced it with over 20 pounds of lethargic fat - and that's conservative! Your metabolism has dramatically slowed and your body composition has changed in unfavorable proportions.

To make matter worse, if you have dieted (I imagine you've attempted one or two), you have accelerated the muscle loss process. Dieting without exercise can lead to 25% to 28% muscle loss.

Aging also makes excess fat harder to hide. As skin begins to lose its elasticity and sag, it has a harder time containing fat cells, giving the skin a rippled appearance often referred to as cellulite.

Why Men Have It Easier

Testosterone stimulates bone and muscle growth. Men don't lose testosterone as fast as we lose estrogen. Men have more muscle, more bone minerals, and tend to eat about 35% more calories than women. Men also respond faster to exercise training.

Although men don't generally live as long as women, they start and end with more bone, more muscle and more testosterone compared to women. By the time a woman is 60 years old, she probably has 20 to 30 pounds of muscle on her frame -IF she's not exercising.

Women also face many social and emotional challenges, which can lead them to become a slave to the scale, avoid exercise for fear of bulking up and fall for spot reduction and quick fix solutions, all of which only compound the problem, These fears, misconceptions and bugaboos, which hold so many women hostage, could easily fill a book, but let's skip over all that and talk about solutions that DO work.

Now that you understand the special physiological challenges women face, let's talk about how to overcome them to attain the strong, trim, fit body you really want.

Exercise is the key to fat burning. If you do one thing incorporate 2 - 3 strength and cardio workouts into your weekly routine using the following 10 tips. The results are guaranteed!
Here are my top 10 fat-burning secrets for women.

1. Warm up before a strength training session - Warming up increases blood flow to muscles by about 55%, giving you better muscle contraction. You'll sweat earlier, which helps to regulate your body temperature. It also jump starts the neuromuscular connection which initiates the release of carbohydrate and fat enzymes and hormones while reducing your perceived exertion during strength training. Just 5 minutes of walking or cycling will meet this requirement.

2. Vary your cardio exercises - Alternate between two or more cardiovascular activities like walking and cycling or kickboxing and step aerobics. This will help to optimally develop your cardiovascular fitness, maintain the element of fun in exercise, help you avoid over-training, as well as injury. Bottom line, you will expend more calories.

3. Incorporate several cardio techniques - Use a combination of continuous, interval, circuit and Fartlek (speed play) training. Changing techniques forces your body to adapt and become more efficient. Vary the intensity and modify impact styles. For example, if you have been walking the same path at the same pace every day, begin to incorporate bursts of acceleration intermittently. The underlying principle is that change is what keeps the body progressing, making improvements and burning fat.

4. Plan your workouts in Phases - Organize your workouts into a cyclic structure. For example, for two to three weeks, exercise at a lower intensity for 45 to 60 minutes, and then, for the next two to three weeks, do 20 to 30 minutes at your highest intensity. The following 2 to 3 weeks go at a moderate intensity for 30 to 45 minutes. This system allows you to maintain a high level of fitness and not over-train. This cycling of workout structures will help your body become more efficient at fat burning

5. Circuit Train - Perform several strengthening exercises interspersed with a short cardio segments. For example perform a leg press, lateral pull down and abdominal crunch followed by 3 minutes of cycling. Then repeat another 3 strength exercises followed by 3 minutes of walking. Circuit training has a lower dropout rate, is an efficient calorie burner, increases muscular strength and decreases body fat.

6. Strength Train with Multi Joint exercises - Choose exercises that work compound muscle groups - meaning more than one muscle group at a time. This will give you the most mileage per exercise. Examples include squats, lunges, and push ups. For every pound of muscle on your body you need 35 to 50 calories per day to sustain it, while every pound of fat on your body requires only a modest 2 calories per day.

7. Exercise first thing in the morning - Morning exercisers have a higher likelihood of showing up. Later in the day, the odds that you'll skip your workout increase as interruptions arise and fatigue sets in. Morning exercise also helps regulate your hormone response, telling your body to release fat and kick start your metabolism.

8. Eat a "primer" meal prior to working out - Having a small balanced meal prior to exercise will help you burn fat. After you eat, your blood sugar rises and exercise acts like insulin to help regulate blood glucose.

Eating will also give you the energy for a more intense workout - you will therefore burn more calories.

9. Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day - Food has a thermic effect, meaning it takes energy (calories) for your body to digest the food you eat. Eating several times throughout the day increases the thermic effect, so you burn more calories. Eating more often also keeps you from feeling like you are being deprived of food and prevents hunger from setting in, which can cause you to binge eat.

10. Train with intensity - To get the full benefits of exercise, you must graduate from the "pink weights" and moderate walking. Do not be afraid to increase your resistance and challenge your muscles and cardiovascular system. In order to change, you have to push your physical limits beyond what you are accustomed to.

I am going to leave you with a bonus secret regarding hydration. In order for fat to be metabolized, it must first be released from the fat cell and then be transported by the bloodstream where it is shunted to the liver and other active tissues to be used as fuel. If you are in a dehydrated state, the liver has to come to the aid of the kidneys and can't focus on it's role of releasing fat. (See chapter x on hydration)

To sum things up, you really can attain a feminine, firm, fit and younger appearance regardless of your age or inherited traits. You can overcome any weaknesses and trouble spots to a certain degree with balanced and symmetrical strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training, combined with making nutritious food choices.

Focus on being the best you can be. A lean and healthy body is both realistic and achievable.

7 Secrets of Permanent Fat Loss and Fitness

By
If one of your New Year's Resolutions, like my wife and me, is to lose weight and get fit then we need to start with a new attitude. Basically that means 100% commitment to this very daunting task. Losing weight has never been fun for my wife and me. We get hungry, have headaches and are irritable; and then use every excuse to eat something we should not have and claim it's due to stress. We are following a program that is already
working and have thus far been very pleased with how it fits into our lifestyle.

Eating fat burning foods and getting proper exercise are the keys. So if you are not into eating the right foods and adding an exercise routine nothing will change. Our meals are delicious and filling and prepared by my wife and me from the local grocer's shelves instead of arriving pre-packaged in a box.

Here are the 7 Secrets to live by if weight loss and fitness are really your goals:

(1) You have to make a lifestyle change

If your idea of fitness is going on a diet for a little while and taking a few aerobics classes, you're probably not going to succeed.

(2) Exercise Less but with more intensity-about 15 minutes each session

Not many people have ever told you to exercise less instead of more, right? Would you believe most people are exercising too much?

(3) Focus on the right foods that are nutrient rich. We've all seen the fad diet books and plans that promise all sorts of fabulous weight loss with very little effort. However, they require you to follow very unusual ways of eating that are not really common sense. The plan we are on has lots of great foods from your grocery store: some of which will surprise you.

(4) Know the numbers: what does this mean? If you don't know the numbers, you have little chance of success in fat loss and fitness. If you're not tracking what works and what doesn't work, you'll be using a shotgun approach that will take much longer.

(5) Surround yourself with positive people--VERY IMPORTANT! If you don't have support from your family and friends no weight loss program will likely work. You may find like we did that your family and friends may be making you fat!

(6) Get a coach or mentor-have someone you can talk to or chat online with that will give you encouragement and be able to answer your questions. This coach or mento could be a personal trainer who is also emotionally supportive, or it could be a combination of a friend or relative or motivational expert.

(7) Be a doer, not a talker-if you stated that losing weight was one of your resolutions for 2012 then stick to it

To get a full explanation for each of these 7 'secrets' you can get a free copy of this 40+ Page booklet. Just go to: http://www.smartbuysa2z.com , click on the home page and take time to read the full article and watch the videos. They make sense and will definitely work if you really want to make a change.
Let's all be REAL LOSERS this year!

13 Weight Loss Secrets For 2013

By
1. Eat some carbs
Weight Loss is an easier goal to achieve when you know the difference between good and bad carbs. Good carbs are ones full of fiber and are absorbed slowly into our systems so that high glucose levels may be avoided, like beans, fruits, whole grain, and vegetables. Bad carbs are refined and processed foods, like junk food, white rice, and white bread.
2. Don't count calories
A calorie is merely a value of energy obtained from food being translated to your physical activities.
Your body's pace of metabolism doesn't depend on calories, but on your fat intake (which must be low), and the chemicals there are in your food.

3. Why an energy bar isn't a friend

Weight loss enthusiasts have always encouraged energy bars as snacks instead of cupcakes, brownies, or chips. The downside is, energy bars contain just as much sugar as chocolate bars like Snickers. Energy bars are called as they are because they're fuel for your workout, but not handy for your diet. Eat a banana instead; it has a healthy mix of potassium, vitamins, antioxidants, and carbohydrates.

4. Why dark chocolate IS a friend

Dark chocolate has antioxidants and helps you feel fuller for a long time, fighting off urges of hunger

5. Drink at least 8 glasses or 1 liter of water a day

This is not a shocker, but this tip definitely aids weight loss.

6. Set specific goals of exercise and increase the intensity moderately

Getting yourself to lose weight is not easy during the early stages. Allow your body to adjust to different paces. Scientific studies show that those who are able to control their workout have more chances to achieve a successful workout, than those who mindlessly exert too much effort but end up at a plateau stage. Always dare to achieve more. Start a month's workout and weight loss plan by having walking briskly for 30 minutes. During the next month, increase the goal by mixing briskwalk exercise and jogging for 40 minutes.

7. Weight loss is achieved more easily when exercising rigorously for short periods of time than when exercising with small-moderate effort for longer periods of time.

8. Spice up your life

Spicy foods are known to be potent fat fighters. Spicy food will also make you consume less portions of food. One example is the turmeric which is widely used in Malaysia.

9. Remember there's an alternative for every unhealthy choice you make.

Don't deprive yourself of cravings, deprive yourself of unhealthy habits instead. When shopping, there are many products with low-fat options. It also makes a difference when you eat smaller portions than the amount you regularly take. When you're about to eat dark meat, remember white meat is healthier. Even when you're craving pizza, there are always pizzas with healthier ingredients aside from the meaty and fatty ones.

10. Fit is greater than fad

Weight loss can only get uglier with fad diets. Once you follow a fad diet, you can expect to lose some weight - and then gain some more. For example, fruit juice cleansing varies the insulin levels in your body - it skyrockets, and then crashes. You will also lose muscle mass, which causes translation to fat from the food you eat once you get back to your regular eating habits. Fad diets are made for lazy people. Weight loss is a lifestyle of fitness, not just some fad.

11. Superfoods that guarantee a super you

Superfoods are foods that when consumed more of will help you successfully achieve weight loss:
Blueberries, eggplant, sweet potatoes, brown rice, wine, broccoli, pears, grapefruit, almonds, kidney beans, green tea, bananas, lentils, eggs, oranges, dark chocolate, pine nuts, potatoes, white beans, cheese (fresh goat cheese and feta), low-fat milk, garbanzo beans, plantains, quinoa, pearl barley, black beans, oats, avocados, salmon

12. Think positively

The way you think greatly affects the way you act. By thinking positively, you will be able to unblock obstacles that distract your way to achieving a perfect body. Celebrities who've had weight loss like Jamie Lee Curtis and Sandra Bullock were known to be optimistic and grateful for the chance to take care of their bodies - and this kept them moving forward.

13. Don't starve yourself

Weight loss is supposed to make you feel good, and starving yourself won't help. It will actually worsen the way you think about dieting. When you starve yourself, your body's metabolism will slow down. Worse, you will end up getting hungrier and eventually overindulge with food until you bloat. To keep yourself from getting hungry with a good diet system, eat frequently, for every 3 to 4 hours a day. This will also keep your metabolism fired up.

Master Weight Loss Success - Fat Burning Secrets For a Slim Body

By
Mastering weight loss is often a very difficult and emotional subject for many people. The simple fact is that it takes effort, and after years of a lifestyle of poor food choices and not enough exercise, weight loss becomes even more difficult. To even think about exercising or cutting back on comfort food can create fear and apprehension.

For many overweight people, exercising, even gently can create pain and fatigue fairly quickly and therefore it is extremely difficult to get over that very first hurdle but the truth is it has to be done. Our bodies are designed to move; we should be able to walk, run and play with ease. Even if disease or disability has affected our bodies, movement in any way possible can only bring great benefits, not only to our physique but to our minds as well.

I think it would be difficult to find one person on this wonderful Earth who doesn't have certain obstacles that they have to face. The majority of human beings don't like change; we like certainty. We all have our comfort zones and a requirement to step outside of them causes stressful emotions within the body and mind. But the wonderful thing is that stepping outside of our comfort zone means stepping into fresh air! It is never as frightening as it seems and can be quite exhilarating, bringing a sense of freedom and achievement. Successful people are those who don't just talk about doing something, they do it, and they continue to do it and when another challenge comes along, they do that as well.

Beginning a weight loss program should always start with setting specific goals. It is never enough to say "I want to lose weight". Spend some time dreaming about the ideal body you would like to have and write it down, taking note of how you feel, how easily you walk, the clothes you wear, the admiration you receive and the powerful messages you can hand on to others. Take the time to write your ideal weight loss three months from now, then six and then twelve and then your ultimate goal - how long will that take?

Get the excitement ripping through your body. Get rid of the excuses; if you have time to watch tv, you have time to get moving. If you need to, get a treadmill and stick it in front of the tv and make sure you use it - just ditch the excuses once and for all. Once you are on your way to achieving your goals, you will find that you love moving more. Your energy levels increase and you get a buzz when you achieve each new goal.

My life changed when I finally gave up my excuses. It took me more than 20 years to realise that the 'quick fixes' I had been falling prey too were not working for me - how dumb was I to believe that I could take magic pills and follow mad diets to watch the fat melt away?

The day my life changed was when I discovered a no-nonsense, no bs approach which has radically changed the way I approach all aspects of my health. I started with my mind before I started with my body. I discovered that my body type was largely (pun intended) endomorph and that I needed to put in more cardio than some types to get the fat moving. A little bit of weight training helps to stop my weight loss being due to losing lean body mass. My quick fixes still weren't working after 20+ years, and the slower approach which encourages your body to increase lean body mass (which in turn increases metabolism) and lose only fat is what is working for me - what a revelation! With a little effort, a slim body is yours as well.

And if there is still a bit of you that loves the quick and easy approach - visit my site to find out how to access the plan instantly [http://newstarthealthandfitness.com]

Secrets of a Killer Upper Ab Workout

By
A lot of people who work hard to achieve ripped abs do not realize that there is actually no distinction between the upper and the lower abs. In fact, the frontal area of the abs called the rectus abdominis is actually just one muscle. So when a person does abs exercises, the entire rectus abdominis muscle is being worked out.

Thus, an upper ab workout should be done in different angles with various movements to activate different muscle fibers in the abs. This will allow the abs to get a more intense workout and build more muscles in the soonest possible time. An upper ab workout should not only have movements that focus on the upper area of the abs but also on the lower area of the tummy.

Here are three ab exercises that can comprise a fantastic upper ab workout. These exercises involve crunches using a stability ball, bench crunches, and crunches using a weighted cable rope.

This killer upper ab workout starts with crunches using a stability ball. To start this exercise, a person uses a stability ball and puts his lower back on top of the ball. He then slowly pushes the ball towards the area above the shoulder. From this position, he crunches the upper torso while maintaining the ball underneath the shoulders. The person has to go as far as he can before returning to the original position. This can be done for 3 sets with 8-12 repetitions.

The next exercise in this killer upper ab workout is the bench crunches. Instead of performing the usual crunch which has the feet fixed on the ground, the bench crunch is an easier and safer variation, especially on the back. The person lays flat on the ground with the feet extended up on the bench. The legs should be kept parallel with the ground and the thighs maintained at a perpendicular position to the floor.

The arms is kept out as the hands is placed on the ears. The person then crunches the upper torso up to the level of the knees, holding it for 1-2 seconds.

This killer upper ab workout also features crunches using a weighted cable rope. This is a great crunch variation because one can add weight according to resistance level. The exercise begins with the person kneeling in front of a gym cable machine and with the rope attachment linked. The person should be a few feet away from the machine so he can properly do the exercise. Crunch the upper torso towards the legs, giving focus on the ab muscles and folding the body in half. When going up, the back should be straight and then arched when crunching down.

This simple upper ab workout can be done in a few minutes. It is very simple although one exercise needs to have a gym equipment. This upper abdominal workout should be done alternately with a whole body workout and cardiovascular exercises to hasten the development of ripped and sexy abs.

The midsection is perhaps one of the areas of the body that can be very difficult to firm up. Unlike the arms and the legs, the midsection is not relied upon to do daily activities such as walking and carrying a load. This is one reason why it can be quite a challenge for anyone to have sexy abs. One has to devote a lot of time and effort in doing abs exercises that tone down the midsection.

Having a good upper ab workout is a nice first step towards achieving ripped abs. An effective workout for the upper abs should be complemented with a lower abs workout. Ideally, working out the lower abs should come first before doing a workout for the upper ab. This is due to the fact that when working out the lower abs, the upper abs is also worked out. Thus the upper abs may not be able to help in the workout for lower abs if a person does an upper ab workout first.

A good workout for the upper abs involves the long arm weighted crunch, a variation of the popular crunch exercise. To do this exercise a person grabs a dumbbell and lays it on the back, with knees bent just like in any regular crunch. The dumbbell is extended past the head and raised several inches off the ground. The person then exhales to crunch the abs in raising the dumbbell towards the pelvis. The position must be paused for a few seconds before returning to the original position. This routine should be repeated about 10-12 times.

An upper ab workout should also include the V-Up exercise, which may not be commonly performed by fitness enthusiasts but just the same is a very effective program in strengthening the rectus abdominis or the muscle located on the upper part of the abs.

In performing this exercise, a person lies on the floor flat on the back, placing the arms beyond the head and the legs stretched out. The legs and arms are raised simultaneously, touching each other, before returning to the original position. Repeat this routine for up to 15 times, giving some seconds of rest. This exercise can be done for three sets.

The upper ab workout will also have the bicycle crunch which takes its name from its position similar to a person pedaling a bike. To do this exercise, a person is on the floor with the hands placed behind the head. The legs are lifted a couple of inches off the floor.

The person crunches to touch the right knee with the left elbow, while leaving the other leg raised a couple of inches from the ground. The position is then alternated with the left knee kissing the right elbow. This is alternated for about 15 times, doing about 3 sets.

An upper ab workout should be done at least thrice a day, giving the ab muscles enough time to recuperate especially for beginners. By doing this workout, one should have a better shot of getting sexy and flab-less abs.

Fat Loss Secrets - Top 4 Fitness Tips!

By
Have you tried without success, all the creams & jellies under the sun, to rid yourself of that ugly collection of fat on your waistline? Do you find yourself fighting a losing battle with your weight? Then, it's more than likely, that you have been getting one or all of the fat loss principles, wrong!

To possess a lean, muscular & graceful body is a dream most of us share. But only a few go on to develop & enjoy that perfectly sculpted, enviable body. What is it then, which prevents you from reaching your goal, even when you have tried so hard? Read on to find out the correct & healthy way to get rid of that fat, forever!

1. Eat on Time

Eat small meals, several times in the day. It is important to have your meals at a fixed time everyday, so that your body gets all the supply of nutrients it needs. This allows your body to let go of the fat stores, since it is getting a regular supply of calories & nutrients from your meals. Ideally, you should be having around 6 to 8 meals in a day.

2. Watch what you eat

Your diet should supply you with proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins & minerals. Make sure you have enough fruits & vegetables to take care of your nutritional requirement. Also, include protein sources such as white meat, eggs & pulses on a daily basis. Avoid oily food products completely. This includes most packaged snacks. The excess sugar in ice-creams, cakes & pastries is converted into fat. So stay away from them!

3. Aerobic workouts

Aerobics is any exercise which increases the body's uptake of oxygen over a period of time. Aerobic workouts include cycling, swimming, running, dancing & brisk walking. This form of exercise activity is believed to be the most effective way of burning out calories. In combination with a customized diet program, your body should rid itself of the excess fat in no time.
